Our art is not focused on concepts, themes or messages. The world today, and much of traditional contemporary art, is overfilled with data, information and concepts to the point of violence or boredom. Although our world has greatly changed over the last century, too much of art today focuses on traditions from the beginnings of the past century. Too many of those traditions have become static and are unevolved for the world today. We believe it is necessary to discover an art for the realities of our present/ contemporary world. This is why we believe it is important to nurture imagination, connection with the environment and the ability to feel from that connection. It is our philosophy that, if even only in a small way, our art brings people into a deeper connection to nature and daily life, our work will help improve relations between people and between people and nature. It may even help us to understand that we are a part of nature. We believe the power of art lies, not in the teaching and preaching of rules and ideas, but simply in its beauty as an offering for deep non-intellectually based experience.
